Power Stick, is capitalizing on the impact of last years’ online viral video sensations “planking” and “Teebowing” and encouraging fans to upload funny videos of “Power Sticking” to the company’s Facebook page for a chance to win $1,000.
What is “Power Sticking” exactly? “Well, we’re leaving that up to the fans,” said Fred Horowitz, CEO of A.P. Deauville. “We want Power Stick to be known as the fun brand and to bring some excitement to personal hygiene. The contest poses the question, what does Power Stick mean to you? We want to see. We ask all of our fans to get creative, have fun, and keep it clean!”
One Grand Prize will receive $1,000 US dollars and the winners’ video will be featured on the A.P. Deauville/Power Stick blog and social channels. Runners-Up (two) will receive a Power Stick personal care package and their videos will also be featured on the A.P. Deauvile/Power Stick blog and social channels.
